Fantasric nursery! My 4 year old son loves it here. He started at 2-3 group, then progressed up to preschool for ages 3-5. Lots of outdoor learning, weekly trips to the beach and woods. The staff are all excellent with the children, and keep parents up to date with daily activities. Daily texts are sent to parents, and there is also a facebook page - great to see what the kids have been doing! My daughter has been enrolled to attend the 2-3 group next year. For anyone who is looking for a nursery, I would highly recommend Torridon.

Fantastic nursery lots of learning opportunities for young children there's always things on covering a wide range of subjects. Friendly staff your always kept up to date with what's going on with your child and nursery your well informed. My son always looks forward to going to nursery. Would highly recommend this to parents that are looking to put their child or children to torridon.

We put our son here for his government funded hours at age 3. I picked him up on his second week to be told he was crying because he was 'tired'. On further investigation I found out he was actually crying because he had been prevented from going outside to play with the other children. The reason he had been punished in this way was because he didn't put a cup and bowl away! Considering he was only on his second week at the Nursery and had recently turned 3 I found that quite a severe punishment. The Managers response to my questions were not in the slightest satisfactory.My son now attends another Nursery in Lossiemouth which we all adore. However it took him a number of weeks before he would eat snack there due to being left traumatised by his experience at East Beach Nursery School.
